My Roots

Hola and Howdy! My name is Alexandra Girard and I started Home Themed Home due to my love for... my home sweet home! Anybody that knows me, knows that I love to decorate my home. I am happiest when my home is full of family and friends and I love making my home a welcoming and happy place.

My life has wonderful multi-cultural roots.  I am originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, where I was raised by my Salvadoran dad and my mom, a native Texan. My path led me to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (WHOOP)! My husband, two little boys and me now call Houston, TX home. Home Themed Home products are the perfect mix of my love of home décor and my cultural backgrounds  - designed mainly in El Salvador and proudly produced right here in the USA! 

My hope is that I can help you create that first impression and warm welcome that conveys to your family and friends, like we say in the South, "come on in and stay awhile!"
